I went to the workshop with the idea to turn Xmas ornaments. There was such a mess that I decided it would be better if I put some order before. When I got the Escoulen chuck in my hands, it tickled me so much that I ended turning a box<O:p</O:p

Claude,

very nice box. I echo Erns questions, also do I see a small amount of Spalting on the lid of the box?

As usual your work is fine example of what can be achieved on a lathe. Its an encouragement to all of us amateurs.

Beautiful work Claude.:) If I ever win the lottery, I'll get myself one of those chucks just for the fun of it. Adds intrigue to every piece.

Toni :D an ordinary spindle gouge. But without the special chuck I know it is possible but more cumbersome :)
