Looks great dosen't it Toni.

Had a look thru some of his previous post and he says

"All piercing is done with a small carbide dental bur in a high speed air driven handpiece"

This would basically be the same as a Dremel, which was my first thought when I saw it

A good fretsaw can do a similar job. A lot slower, but also much cheaper. :)

A Dremel with a small burr should be adequate, but see

Bottom line recommends a higher-speed tool.

Yeah, Skewie, a fretsaw could be used if necessary, but have you been to purgatory lately? Need a drilled starter hole for each piercing, and have to swivel the handle as you go; unless you use a spiral blade, and I think they're available for scroll saws only (usually pin-less). Also have to work upside down with the fretsaw, I think.

Who said it would be easy? :D:D

I have some pinned spiral blades, but your right; they're for a scroll-saw. However I'm pretty sure I can fit them to my fretsaw.

Don't have to work upside down though... I work any which way up. But certainly not on anything as complicated as Toni's pic... Patient I may be, but I don't want to become a patient. :youcrazy:

PS: Even when using the fret-saw, I use my Dremel to drill the pilot holes! :D
