Hi out there. This may sound basic but.....I need to make a heap of signs on timber: 150 x 25. Want to rout out some letters approx 75mm high. Have tried freehand but the results looks like a kindergarten students handwriting! Can you buy an alphabet template - or what is the way to do these. Even freehand difficult because it is hard to follow the router bit over my pencil marks. Have asked around some hardware shops but little success. Thanks.

I have seen router letter templates around the place like Bunnings or Timbecon etc.. I have used them myself, but you might look into it there.

I know Trend Machinery in the UK has a pretty good set.
Haven't used them myself but it appears they do produce nice letters. I have seen some templates that would produce the ugliest-shaped letters around. personal choice I guess.

I'm thinking of ordering the trend set for the same purpose as you.
