My first attempt at a weed pot.
Turned from a lump of firewood, finished with danish oil and wax.
Stands about 200mm tall - definitely the largest piece I have put on the Leda mini:)(

No, no, no. We don't grow out of our Ledas... we just get bigger ideas!

My li'l Leda still gets a damned good workout, especially when it comes to making pens and lace bobbins. Partly 'cos I can sit while using it and partly 'cos it's just so damned good at what it does. :)

Not bad at all, for a "lump of firewood," John, I'd be happy to have it on my mantelpiece. Care to take a stab at putting a name to it? And you'll find that your Leda will gracefully put up with larger pieces than that, although it does help a LOT if she's bolted down. DAMHIKT. :-

Yup. Mines mounted on an old metal bench with shortened legs. It means I can't get my legs under the bench and sit sorta sideways, but it's really quite comfy. :)

Hmmm... pic attached. As you can see, I don't really have much choice but to sit. :rolleyes: (Apologies for the mess, but I's bin playing. :- )

Plenty of scope for bigger pieces now I've got the bed extension.

I have another lump of firewood picked up at the same time, so probably from the same tree.
