Hi Ladies,

I would like to share my tread from the "Musical Instrument" section.
I'm not to sure if this will work but maybe click on this link and it
will take you there.
(If not go to Instruments. Click on page 4 and it is under
"Chick makes her first guitar in Aussie Timbers"

I totally enjoyed the experience of making a guitar. I dont play as you
will see via the thread. The whole process was amazing. Especially the
last few days of sanding and then oiling.

Hi Reeves,

Have been away and busy playing Step Mum with my partners
6 year old boy.

I had no idea at first about sound or aiming to obtain a great sound
I just followed the step by step, mill by mill measuring to get it all
right.

The sanding the top of the guitar is the most important part.
It has to be long and smooth strokes and consistant to get a great
sound. Some secrets revealed in the course on bass and trebbel notes
and how to get the most out of them in sanding.

The top is about 2.7mm ish hand oiled and lovingly cared for throughout the course :B .

It was one of the best experiences I have ever had.

Recently I had an offer for it for $4,500 as the sound has come along
so well. The timbers are just maturing so well.

King Billy Top.

Cheers
Fiona :p
