Re-read Skews Goblet Tutorial (http://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com.au/showthread.php?t=38282&highlight=goblet)last night.
Out to the garage this afternoon, roughed down a piece of recycled timber from a friend's renovating (I think it might be maple) and turned my first goblet.
The inside is not as good as hoped for - I still haven't got the hang of end grain hollowing, the lip has gone wavy, but I am pleased with the overall shape and proportions :)

90mm tall, 43mm across the bowl, the pic shows it standing on the raw timber.
Finish EEE and Shellawax.

I like. I like it a lot. :D

I've got this "thing" for goblets :- but I particularly like 'em shaped like a runway model: nice curves with legs that go all the way. I reckon you've done damned well with the shape and proportion.
