Hi,
Last weekend at the Adelaide Timber Show I was talking to the guy at the Timbecon stand as he was doing a demo on routing.
While he was doing some profile cutting from a MDF template he nailed the template to his work piece. I mentioned that I use double sided masking tape to do this all the time.
He told me it was very dangerous because its very easy for the router bit to cause the 2 pieces to seperate.
The only problem I've had using double sided masking tape is actually getting the pieces apart. In fact I've broken a template because I used too much tape.
I was wondering how many other people use double sided tape and if you have had any problems/mishaps.
Glen
