HI,

I know that Acorn hand planes were made in England by Henry Taylor tools but does anyone have experience with these planes? How would you rate them against older Stanleys???

TIA:

I came across a snippet on Acorn planes that you may be interested in: James Arscott Chapman first used the Acorn brand name. According to British Planemakers they started making them from 1934. They were bought out by Stanley in 1936.

Quality-wise, they would rate below Stanley and Record.
