On Friday I removed an Oak ( not sure of species but from Europe not America I think) It was a 3' stump that had been cut back to this for years when I cut the top bit off for fire wood the grain was very interesting. Then I remembered a table in Werribee Mansion that was veneered with polarded oak. So I ripped it into 4-5" square blocks 3' long with a chain saw. Is it worth anything? or should I use it for next years firewood?
