I made this Coping Sled up a little while back. For those who don't know, these are used for when you are routing the profiles across the ends of rails, mullions, and other tongue & groove joints. The reason to use one is the control on the workpiece and also (probably the most important) the backing block eliminates tearout.

The sled has a guide made of UHMW plastic (i.e. like the white plastic Breadboards) which runs in the mitre slot on my Router table. You could just make it to slide along the fence if you wanted.

The jig works great and vastly improves my results when using my Rail/Stile bit.
