gday folks am looking for advice. i am looking to buy portable thicknesser and am wondering if anyone can advise me have looked at metabo dh330 ,makita 2012nb and dewalt 735 mixed reviews on all of them . size and portability a must ,got to take on site or if anyone can sugest any other model make whatever got $800 to $1200 to spend and yes the carbatec are nice but too heavy and not portable enough for OHS police

This is the one that I bought from hafco for 329 dollars or so. It's my opinion that all the lowerend machines come out of the same factory. It seems to be still working well. Have put about 100+ metres of assorted timber through it and the blades are just about ready to be changed.

thanks for reply the model you have is pretty generic and most places sell as there own brand for much the same price have looked at these and been advised by sales staff to spend more (lol) to get better quality especially as most runs will be old hardwoods
again thanks for the reply and must say this a great resource for workers of timber
