Just been playing around with a prototype for christmas ornaments. Got the idea from a US website.

On ya tree. Screw a brass eyelet in the top and tie some ribbon to it :2tsup::2tsup: (Didnt have any eyelets in the shed)

Good start, Gra. I'd suggest a finer-grained timber for the icicle, e.g. sweet gum (Murrican nomenclature; YMMV). 'Twould allow a sharper point. Also, more graceful curves on the icicle transitions. Other than that, fine work.
