can anyone comment on the Carbatec 12 1/2 inch thicknesser model CTJ340 which they have on special at $499.
It seems to have almost the same specifications as the Delta DE-22-560 which Carbatec sells for $799.Both have a 2.2hp motor, 2 knife cutter-head , 12/1/2" width and max. thickness of 152mm down to 5mm minimum.They look the same and even weigh the same at 33kg! I am looking to buy one for amateur use.
