Good to see the woodturning forum still going strong. Turned my first bowl for a while (a long while), well, actually re-turned it!
An old bowl (never guess what the wood is?) that was too thick and was a very early peice. Lucky I left the rebate in the bottom!
Got bitten by the black dog and put out of action for a while. I bought a MIG welder for Chrissy (well actualy it's for the missus, or so I said at the time) and was looking at some welding threads, and low and behold, all these familiar people from "woodturning" do welding as well!:D I got lot's of good welding advice, thanks very much.
