Anyone got any comments on Stubai chisels? I’m after a new set of five replacements purely for cabinet work - the stanley’s will be dedicated to the reno work thus saving a lot of time sharpening.

I've heard good stuff on Stubai, For what its worth I hve MArples and NBL. Both these brands seem ok to me.
Why not lash out and get some really nice Damascan steel blades ? I've often fantasised making my own damascan steel for knives and chisels etc...

Haven't used Stubai, but FWIW I got myself a set of Hamlet butt chisels a few weeks back and I love 'em - really nice to use, sharp as a razor. Carbatec carry them - $89 for the 4 piece butt chisel set, $99 for the 4 piece full size set.
