The easiest way of making wheels for toys is to slice them from the end of a thick dowel. This simple jig allows you to quickly find the centre of the hole you will need to drill for the axle. The centre is located at the intersection of two diameter lines ruled with the help of the jig.

Once more, you've proven your genius!
The people at Triton should snap you up, they seem to be lacking in ceativity lately.
Cheers

Hovo,
I follow Tom Lehrer's recipe for academic success - plagiarise, plagiarise, plagiarise. This jig uses the same principle as the centre-finding part of the Starrett combination square, although I do not claim the same pinpoint accuracy for my MDF contraption as can be achieved with the Starrett.

You are way too modest.
Besides, when you acknowledge your source it isn't really plagiarism. Lecturers could never nab me for plagiarism, they just wrote "scissors and paste" all over my academic attempts. That was before computers and the term "cut and paste".
Some things never change.
cheers
Jim
ps. keep the great second hand ideas coming, I like them, and I don't think I'm alone.
