First of all I'd like to say that Bob (Robyn 2863) is an absolute legend! I arrived at my rellys ( where the lathe was) to find a huge pile of timber (pic 1) (some really nice pieces in there) - I was only expecting a few blanks! :2tsup:
Then I drop in to say hi and he gives me two chisels, calipers, more timber and a crash helmet (full face mask) :2tsup::2tsup::2tsup:
But now onto the toys :D
The lathe! (pic 2) - It's a Jet Jwl-1220. Paid $500 for it and love it to bits! (soooooooooooooooooo much better than the gmc)
My chisels (pic 3) - left to right - Northwood 3/4 skew, 1/2 spindle gouge, 3/4 Versitool (my name for it). The it's a P+N gouge and a Titan Square Scraper.
The Chuck! (pic 4) - $195 at Northwood tools. It's a GPW 100 deluxe set. comes with 4 jaws.
Torquata Drill Chuck (pic 5) - $30 at Northwood Tools. Very nicely made and finished.
The whole shebang (pic 6) - made that bench meself
:woot:
