Hi all,

I have turned a little lidded box and much to my disgust a few cracks have appeared. All are hairline. My question is this. Generally, how big is too big for a crack before it gets dangerous to turn? Keeping in mind my beginners lack of experience here, I don't want to wear the thing...

Thanks in advance.
Anthony

G'day.

Get some of the thin superglue from a woodturning supplies shop &
stick it in the crack to stop it growing.

Do a search for cracks & super glue on this site.
(button at the top of the page)

You should get heaps of good ideas.
