Snooker Cue Making

Hi

Ive been searching for someone over the past few years to teach me how to make a "Snooker Cue".

I am not a Cabinet maker or anything. Would I have to do some wood-turning course? If so, where would I go. I live in Sydney Australia.

G'day,
Have any luck in getting info on Snooker cue building??
Stacks of info on POOL cue building, but doesnt help if you want to hand splice cue shafts to butts

i also would like to build cues ,i left my new one in the sun and it went like a boomerang shape, and that was a $200 cue and i need to rebuild a new top peice.........bob
