I wouldn't even bid for it until it was cut down an you could see the insides. It could be full of termites which is maybe why it died!. In fact if it was I'd be asking for money for the cutting down.

Apricot's gorgeous wood. If it were near me, I'd go cut it down for no payment but the wood. But charging someone for it, and then them having to cut it down is a bit ... cheeky... Vern's right... cheeky, to say the least. Call him and tell him you'd be glad to make it disappear for him, for a buck a year. :D

Go around. Fell the tree onto the house. Say "Oops" then tell him you changed you've mind... and get out of there ASAP. :D

Auction finished and it didnt get a bid. If i was in melb i would ring and offer to cut it own take the wood and leave him the stump to get rid of. I would cut it off at ground level if he wanted.

But then again you do have to wait for it to dry.

No thanks very rude and he wants the stump removed I hope it rots and falls on his house.
