Here are two Mango twig pots. There is a fair bit of spaulting in the "Tubby" pot while the other has quite a few worm holes. The pots were turned green, then microwaved. Both were then finnished with EE Ultra shine then shellawaxed. Mango turns ok when green and is quite soft and light (weight) - compared to Black Wattle.

Little Festo, nice work. Mango is a fun wood to work with, isn't it? I recently completed a two wood tall lidded box, Mango and Banksia and I loved the yellow colouring in the Mango. One piece of info I heard though was that if you strip the bark off Mango when it is cut the grubs, which apparantly live in the bark can't burrow into yhe wood. Maybe useful to you too.

Peter,

How about a photo showing the setup you use to display your work before taking the photos. I know you have mentioned it previously but I would be interested to see the light locations, positioning of the black board, how the board is supported etc.

Thanks

Stinky.
