I have just posted in the General Woodwork section a spreadsheet for calculating angles and stock thickness for any given wall thickness (when gluing timber together). This is most suited to wood turners trying to figure out how wide/thick each piece of timber should be (and what angles to cut) to glue together to make any sized cylinder they want.
eg if you want to make a drum of 10mm wall thickness, and internal diameter 300mm - what thickness stock is required and what angles, to achieve this, with minimal wasteage.

Hope it helps
