Hi hope i am not posting something already covered.

juat found these 2 Nova Lathes - both in Queensland.

umm Nova DVR , mine has broken down 3x in one year ??? one more year left on waranty ??? might just be a lemon

my nova 1622-44

has been a right pain in the neck! if it wern't for the awesome customer service of trend timbers it'd still be going any way it wanted! not to mention the kicking i got from some know on this forum when i suggested that it was missing a thread in the bed casting!

Bit suss how the 1st one is advertising a Nova3000 and pictures a DVRXP.

Sawdustsniffer, what problems have you had, 3 times is not good!

iv got a nova tl1500 it has never missed a beat. except for the grub screw rattleing lose in the pulley fixed that with a drop of screw tight thow.:2tsup:

not sure of the quality of the new novas but mine sems to be top notch. and bilt like a brick shethouse (how is that a swearword?).

I think like everything you get good and bad at the same time. I have lathe exactly the same age as Twinnies. I think mine might be a week younger. Both identical lathe. He has had nothing but trouble. I have had nothing but joy with my lathe. So I think with everything there is good and bad. I am thrilled to bits with my nova
