Its all white i suppose:D Nice lathe but i prefer my females to be a little softer and less wieght, my bed would not hold it. And prefer my lathe to hold the wood not bite it:D Hope you get lots of fun from it. LB Give it a little pat on the motor from me:rolleyes:

No!!!!! the lathe in my shed (or even the lounge room):D

Don't talk to me about sheds.. I built myself one and the son decided to move into it... has been there for the last 8 years! and plans to leave in lets say another 50 years!

Anyway he has had a new shed built for me and I am still getting it set up.

If any of you are getting sheds built... take some advice from little SHMBO (my daughter) Dad... get all your things setup in the shed with plenty of sawdust as SOON as it is built or someone else will fill it up with their stuff...

Good advice but guess who has just put their trailer and kayaks in mine!!!

Regards

Chipman:)

SS_1000 : Blue nope haven't got the blues
Chipman : haven't got any problems with being the first to fill anything with junk...
Artme : What ? are you talking about the great danish chaos theory organization style approach im using for toolstorage

Im still mostly longing for shed time Have to keep SHMBO happy... and do all kinds flatstuff around the house... but today or Sunday... perhaps i hope

Now to go through the pile and see if there is anything worth turning.

Hmmm, some how I over looked this one, my apologies.

As its names sake its a solid looking beast......er fish, um machine.

:2tsup: now wheres those award winning turnings? :U

You'l have to take a trip down under to get some exotic timber to match the lathe

I'd like to think there is something there worth turning Rasmus. But I'm afraid of the radial cracks . What are you going to create on "her" first, apart from shavings?

killerbeast
25th May 2008, 10:05 PM
Well i have a lot of green stuff that needs roughing out.. other then that i dont know.. not shure..

well, I have only had my lathe for two weeks. The last time I used one was 30 years ago in high school. so the very first things I made were wood chips and fire wood. I have now made a few pens, some mushrooms, and a rolling pin for my dear wife.

Rasmus, are you new to wood turning as well?

killerbeast
