The French association of wood turners organizes every year a "moving exhibition" of pieces turned by its member. Each member can send three piece to a jury which will select the participants.
Interestingly in this exhibition you then have objects turned (and more) by professionals and amateurs.
While in the US we have seen a certain evolution towards segmented turning, I leave you discover the venues in France.
Pictures have been taken by FRED who went to see the exhibition in Revel.

Claude, only one small photo came out. I had a decco at your website and could not find anything. I'll have a captain's at google and see if I can find anything.

Truly spectacular work, Claude. Thanks for posting it.

It's an interesting exercise to (try to) imagine how some of those pieces were mounted/re-mounted. Seldom successful.

Had another look at your sIght,TTIT. I like your wrap dispenser.:D and the other stuff of course. But the world needs wrap dispensers.:2tsup:
