On the back of Cliff's nice T-oak burl. I thought that i would post these pics of this coolibah burl bowl / bed pan??? just the shape it turn out?
Our Turner at the Lumber Bunker did this last week for display in the store and is now on show in the store.
It was turned the conventional way, ie face plate then chuck. with the additional carving of the open side.
Jason (our turner) used a bowl gouge and round nose scraper. to get a decent finish.
