Some reviews . . . Woodturning Review May 2008 (http://www.thompsonlathetools.com/images/reviews/WoodturningReview-May2008.pdf) & Woodturning Nov 2007 (http://www.thompsonlathetools.com/images/reviews/Woodturning-Nov2007.pdf)

Have to contact the proprietor for shipping outside of the US.

I have a few of Doug's tools and find them equal to my old Glasers. I will admit that Doug is a friend of mine, but I have replaced all my gouges with the Thompson tools.

The tools seem to have a great ability to hold an excellent edge, but I am one who will sharpen very often, even when it may not be needed. :) It's just my nature.

I would not hesitate to try them out. I know Doug has a money back policy if you are not happy with the tool.

I also should say that I have jumped on his coat tails to provide handles for his tools, but it is easy enough to make your own.

Best wishes,
Dave
