I acquired the last (maybe) turning tool for my collection a few days back - the Ci2 which is a smaller version of the Ci1.
I gave it a little workout over the weekend. It's not as hefty as the Ci1 and seems more suited to smaller work like pens etc that are not on my radar at the moment. It comes with a square cutter and is great for "fine" roughing work, particularly for novices like me.
The one thing over the Ci1 was the plunge capability of the Ci2. With a smaller cutter, it digs in deep and more easily.
And I do have a stack of DVDs and instructions for the Rougher. If anyone is interested, I'm more than happy to send them out. Just send me a PM and they'll be on the way.
So DJ, where is the Forum Ci1? I've got some spare cutters ready for the next user, just let me know how things are going.
