hardwood slats for privacy screens

Hello, i am wondering what is the best way to fix hardwood slats 90 by 19mm to brick piers, they will be horizontal and span about 2600mm between the piers,the piers are about 1800mm high and there is a dwarf wall between them 600mm high.

Hmm, you could use masonary anchors to fix some 70 x 45 or similar to the piers (verticaly) and then you are free to nail on your horizontal slats.
