I need help :?
I have just taken up turning, did a weekend course but I am having trouble with sharpening. I have a bench grinder and have just bought a tru grind jig but I think I am butchering my tools. What I would like is to have somebody come to my shed and teach me with my tools, of course I will pay you for your time.
If any body around the Penrith area could help me please PM me.
Thanking in advance
Paul

Sorry, Paul, I can't help.

Now if you were in Vic, there are plenty that could help you. Bound to be someone up your way that can help.

But if you ask or DJ nicely, they'll give you the heads-up on free-hand grinding. Other folk of course like to use jigs. Maybe Ern can help with that.
