I post this here because I know we have a couple of forum regulars who own Widgitmaster Midis and it may be of interest to them.

A fellow CNCer here in Geelong sent me the first pic asking if we could do something about his clearance issue.

The rest of the pics show what we did.

Great idea Greg. I have not had any major problems to date, but the potential is there.
I had an additional problem in that I could not purchase the extension piece from Widgitmaster, so I made one out of some hardwood. It works well, but I will make myself an aluminium one with some scrap from my new machine. Also, the circuit board in my Proxxon carked it ... purchased from the States, I tried to fix it myself rather than send it back ... the short story is that I now have a spare Proxxon for parts and have ordered a new one from Victoria! I hope that I learn from my mistakes!!
