Snapped this fellow today at one of the local jetties in about 2metres of water trying to have a free feed from a crab pot, if you don't watch them they settle on top of the crab pot and it doesn't take long for them to eat all your bait.
It would have been in the region of 1 metre across.
I'm pretty sure it's a Southern Eagle Ray but i'm happy to be corrected.
