Does anyone know if titebond 3 has hit the Australian shores and if so where it can be purchased.
Are there any suppliers other than Carbatec that you may know of?

thanks

All,

Carbatec are the Oz distributors but I think MIK have it as well.
(btw sounds like great stuff from the two reviews I have read)

From the titebond website

FDA approved for indirect food contact

does that mean its foodsafe as long as the food isnt anywhere near it?

Whats the advantage over Titebong 2?

The advantages of a titebong are ummm .. I'm not sure how to phrase this.

It's indirect food contact approval and waterproofness make it ideal for cutting boards.

Woodbond adhesives in Adelaide are importing the smaller bottles to test the market. They should be at the woodworking show in Sydney.

does this mean that I can use it for cutting boards?

Or should I use something else...

Has anyone seen an MSDS before jumping at this product?

My usual cynic thought is the better it works, the more respect and PPE you need.

Does anyone know of an equivalent to the Veritas Chair Doctor glue?

Thought that was just CA glue in a fancy applicator.
