View Full Version : Glue for chopping boards

Could someone recommend the correct glue for use on chopping boards. These boards are always getting washed-up, cleaned with bleach and all types of foods are chopped up on them.

I have used ordinary pva for many years, not one problem.

PS We just wash them the same as anything else.

The best glue to use is a 2 pack PVA based glued available from National Starch in Sydney. Completley non toxic is able to withstand temperature extremes and prolonged imersion. Most laminating companies use this glue and it is available in small quantities and can be ordered through most hardware stores.
