Hi,
Never tried wood turning before and have the opportunity to purchase a Ryobi lathe - approximately 8 years old and not much used. Would come with a stand and a few accessories.
Do people recommend this for a first timer - and i understand that Ryobi is probably only a little way above GMC...
Your opinions would be appreciated (plus sugestions of what would constitute a reasonable price to pay.
thanks in advance people.

G'day Nige

Some pics or even a model number would be handy. Then the experts that exist on this forum (and they know who they are:rolleyes:) can give you a better opinion of what your looking at

Cheers
