Hey There,

Found a piece of Camphor in the shed, Haven't turned anything other than pens for a while, so I had a go at this, its about 250 in diameter and about 35 deep. I finished it to 400 wet and dry and then burnished it with shavings, the aroma is beautiful:p, the whole house and probably the neighbours smell pretty good at the moment. Your comments and thoughts welcome.

Great job - love working with that wood - but it is not common in Ballarat except in cold & flu tablets:D:D:2tsup::doh: Is it a keeper or a present/sale?

Cheers

Hey Guys,
Thanks for the comments
The Paltter is gift to the Minister for Finance and Romance, I got some brownie points for it:2tsup: and a few more because I started the first part of the new TV unit, it will be a three part unit of her design, I will post some WIP pics in the Big Stuff Forum in a few days.

The Plastic bottom was only for photo display, I have to do some work on the photo taking side of things, but we will get there eventually.
