View Full Version : Low profile alder bowl

Have a lot of alder leftover pieces from different projects, sometimes a good thoughts to do something with these leftover pieces.
One piece was just nice for a low profile bowl, others are nice for smaller stuff like Christmas lights, something I planned to do in november.
The DxH dimensions of this low profile bowl are 170mm x 60mm.
As usual for me finished with blanc transparent lacquer.

Ad, the yellow marks on the wood...are they the start of spalting?

In fact I made it in the first place with a lid and finial, but was not so happy as it looked not quite well. In my eyes the lid and finial were not so delicate. Good to have sometimes critique on your own work.
