Hello all, just joined woodwork forum & spotted a fishing forum :q

Mainly fish local creeks for anything edible.
Tackle includes Alvey 500 reel, Wilson 8' rod, 2.7kg line with heavier trace, rarely use sinkers, esky with carlton mid strength & ice.

Been pulling in some respectable bream & flatties, son's got a phone vid of my releasing a monster bream, had virtually no colour left on it.

Plenty of eels for keeping my re-rigging skills up to scratch :roll:

Anyways, off to find a beer sub-forum

Passed through there and stopped for a day or two in the sixties, and ever since, I thought I could have easily lived there. You make it sound even better than I thought. Flatheads from a creek bank, how lucky? :)

It's still a nice town Buzza, Other than yuppie street cafe's & train line closed, it's still much the same.

General feel is still relaxed & a good arms length from the crazy coast up north :U
