Attacking Eagle.
For my latest carving I've gone back to the through the wall concept, I enjoy this because it's challenging and fairly unique. The wings, part body and legs are American black walnut, the head, feet and talons are Jelutong. He is on my games room scaring people Hope you like him.

That is such a signature concept of yours = "through the wall." This is a fine example.

Yes I do like it.
From the angle of the first photo he looks like he is almost smiling.

Hi Cobalt, It doesn't take that long to mount but for it look right it has to be really flush to the wall and the only way I can do that is to hot glue it, I hold the part on the wall and move it around till it looks right and put a little pencil line as a guide for gluing, you only get one shot at it though.

Rob, there's a lot of new carvers here. Any chance you could put up a few pix of the first ones?
They were a stunning introduction to your style.

Thanks. Funny what I can remember, I was about to ask you for the trout carving and the cat & mouse.
Quite a body of work.
