    Default Bits and bobs.

Hi Folks, I haven't posted much for awhile but I have been fairly busy, the following is what I have done recently. I got asked to make some cheese boards so I had a go at designing something unique with a live edge, these are in American black walnut and poplar. Next is carving of my favourite Game of Thrones character Tyrion Lannister ( Peter Dinklage) some of you may know him, this is in English lime. The wall piece is a conversion of an old carving with some driftwood added, I carved the leafs and the little bird. Last is an abstract lighthouse I made from off cuts from my carvings, 9 different woods on a slice of Jarrah burl. Hope you like them

Nice variety. Good to show an example that even scrap has its place.
The cheese boards are gallery grade. I'd put any of them on my table.
I haven't finished anything of any significance in a long time.

Love the cheese boards! You did well on the head, also!

Thanks RV and Claude, The cheese boards were fairly easy to make and have been quite popular, a gallery in a country area approached me about putting them in their place but it's
a few hours drive away. RV I hate chucking good wood away, even little off cuts, I still have lots left and will make things with them in the future. Thanks for the comments.
