    Default My latest carving

A little sea shell I carved today. It is sitting on a blackwood box that will hold a set of 3 small carvings when finished.

I would never be able to solve the geometry puzzle nor could I accomplish the wall thickness. Really a gallery-grade carving.

Nice one. I bet you used a tripod for those pics. Also that sure is a baby abalone shell in the background.

What excellent work, very much in the spirit of the finest netsuke I would think.
Proving that you don't have to work big to produce important & worthy carvings , it just oozes the care & loving attention you have given the piece, almost painfully sensitive !
    It's a an absolute gem .
