Anyone up for a collaboration?
Hi guys and gals,
So I'm most of the way through my Chess Set, and I've left the easiest pieces till last. (that is to say that, because they are the only pieces left, they, therefore, are the easiest) I've had a few attempts but at the end of the day, i'm not happy at all with my attempts to carve a knight.
I'm very happy with the all the other pieces and the set is such an investment of my love and passion and time that anything other than something first class would be a let down.
I'm looking for someone that is willing to collaborate with me to finish this project.
Willing to reimburse or trade time for something for the right person.
If anyone knows anyone that might be interested and has experience in small detailed in the round carving i'd appreciate and introduction.
Here is the link the the wood-turning forum where I've share the progress shots of the other pieces.
Staunton Chess Set
Thanks in advance for any help you guys can offer.
