    Default Dachshund Puppy

    My latest carving. I decided the first dachshund was more realistic, so I decided to try a caricature and ended up with a puppy. It is just over 75mm long, not counting the tail. Carved from basswood, painted with acrylics.

    It certainly looks more cartoonish or as you said caricature having the head so much bigger than the body. I also think that the smile might have something to do with it.

    Really nice to have seen this at the beginning of my day as it bring a smile on my face.
