How Much Do You Guys Get For Your Walking Sticks
I'm just curious as to how much you guys get for your walking sticks and how many sticks you sell each year.
I usually sell somewhere around 2,000. This includes all the types of sticks that I list on my web page. By far the biggest seller is the Curled/Twisted Walking Sticks, which are really hard find out in the woods and a pain in the butt to pack out of the woods.
I sell several Carved Snake Sticks, but not as many as I would like. Seems like it's really difficult to promote the web site.
Any suggestions or comments?
I'm attaching a picture of the last batch of sticks from last week, 98 Curled Walking Sticks.

Gday stixman, I have made a couple of hiking type sticks & have collected quite a few ready for manufacture. I have sold only one as a present for someone in Finland for $50.
What timbers do you use for your sticks? Your timbers would probably not be available in Australia. I have collected mostly eucalypt branches but the one I sold was a willow branch that was very light & have a few olive branches to try.
Eucalypts shed their bark easily so I shave it off to prevent it just falling off, but I am going to try an olive stick with bark on. (partly because its so hard to remove it)
Are all the snake sticks just a vine around a branch or are they carved out of the branch itself? They do look amazing, how long does it take you to finish one?
Regards Dave
