    cheers mate.
    trugs were used many years ago over here in the fields to collect either fruit and veg or flowers,
    they take me about a week to 2 weeks each depending on size and the wood used. but the end result is very rewarding.

    Hey, I'm with Artme, I didn't know what a trug was either. Lovely work. Look like an interesting project. Welcome to the forum. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

    must admit i only learnt what a trug was about a year ago from a bloke at my local wood carving club,
    i'm glad you like them i will post a few more pics soon as i have some pieces nearly finished

    yes they are very unusual and make great gifts for people ,also can sell at a good price
