Nat.Geo. is a good source of inspiration for me
This carving is 60 cm. H and in the natural color of the same wood as the Waterplant.

Good. I've seen autumn leaves here which look like that. Like the size, too. Can't get lost in a room.

Another beautiful piece, love the way it flows with the grain. That's a nice wood.

I use first a fungicide against insects and woodrot. Then I put a synthetic sealer, after drying sanding with worn out sanding paper an than several layers shellac (by hand, not brushing)
