A kinetic sculpture ? a sophisticated toy ? a novelty ? a masterclass in design ? A technology waiting for an application ? A waste of time ? Brilliant ?
I'm not sure what it is or if it has any relevance but it sure is interesting !

TJ has quite a body of work that's I'd call kinetic sculptures, even the little assembly kits.
The biological design elements are interesting.
Just a whole lot different from those of Guiseppe Penone.
