Making a tree stump into a sculpture
I have a couple of very large tree stumps in my yard (pictures to come when I am home in time to catch a pic in daytime) and was wondering if any members knew of someone in south-eastern Tasmania who sculpts tree stumps.
I have seen some sculptures around Tasmania that are amazing.
I have no idea of the cost, therefore not sure if I could afford it at the moment, but would be interested in getting an idea. Alternatively if there are any members who want to grab a chainsaw and have a go themselves let me know.

There is a bloke who lives at/near Ross who is well known for his Chainsaw Carvings. Eddie Freeman is his name. I also know a woodcarver who lives at Lachlan, not sure if he has done such large bits before however he is calling in at my place in the next day or two and I can ask him if you like.
Do you have any idea what you would like your tree stumps carved into.

Thanks for the reply.
I am thinking corny sort of stuff like paddymelons, Tassie Devils. Native animals basically.
Also open to artist's suggestions as my artistic eye is somewhat useless.
