    Default Wood burns

    Surreal day with the guts of our town burnt down. A lot of art work went with it, including a carved pole in the front of Nimbin museum... One of four I helped my neighbour do for uprights to shop awnings. Only one left now after two others were damaged by water exposure.

    Yes I saw it on the news, it must have been traumatizing for all of you. The say a lot of irreplaceable stuff was lost.

    Terrible news. The psychological damage must be a burden, too.The sun is always orange, here, now. The air stinks, acrid forest fire smoke.Nothing locally threatened so some fires are allowed to burn.Most grateful for the contingent of fire fighting experts just arrived from Sydney.Good on ya!
