    Default xmas gift

    318.jpgl was ask to paint a family free for my wife mother as she has got a brain tumor and not doing so well ,she was a bit upset as she has lost her site and couldn't see the painting . so l made her one she can feel the smaller brances are her grandchildren and the leaves are the future the wood is Exocarpos cupressiformis that l cut down on my own block and dried .

    only the final steelwooling and wax and it's all done size 30cm x 15

    what a nice idea well done .
    At lest its something different from those naff /cheese carved Santa's etc. that every where you look at this time of year
    Just a personal view which many will not agree with

    Cobalt, I have to agree on the Santa's, every carving site or facebook page I go to has Santa's everywhere, Total overload
